Homeopathic HCG Drops Not Recommended as Safe Weight Loss Method

Homeopathic HCG Drops Not Recommended as Safe Weight Loss Method

There is a profound difference between Pharmaceutical hCG hormone and “Homeopathic HCG” Drops when following the hCG Diet Protocol. “Homeopathic HCG” has been shown to contain a variety of the following substances: water, alcohol, vitamins, filtered microscopic trace amounts of hCG if any at all and various herbal stimulants. This suggests that “Homeopathic HCG” has no relationship to the hCG Hormone (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin).

Pharmaceutical hCG hormone can only be obtained by a written prescription from a licensed physician and cannot be purchased off the Internet. If you have purchased “HCG drops” off the Internet, you have most likely purchased “Homeopathic HCG” which does NOT require a prescription because it does not contain the real pharmaceutical hCG hormone.

Dr. ATW Simeons, the originator of the hCG Diet Protocol, suggests that pharmaceutical hCG for the purpose of weight loss must contain a minimum of 125 IU (international units) of pharmaceutical hCG hormone delivered daily. hCG must only be prescribed by a physician and dispensed from a reputable US based pharmacy.

Inches and Pounds is the industry leader in promoting the hCG Diet Protocol because we conduct our programs under the supervision of a licensed physician, require specific blood testing, comprehensive physical exam and detailed health history in order for qualification. Blood tests are crucial in determining whether an individual is healthy enough to undertake a very low calorie diet.

The hCG Diet Protocol is based off the theory that the hCG Hormone triggers your body to release stored fats and deliver the nutrition it needs to supplement a low caloric intake. If you are not getting this supplementation of calories because you are using a homeopathic mixture, your body most likely will deplete lean muscle tissue and will not capitalize on releasing excess stored fat reserves. As a result, your metabolism may slow down with the loss of lean muscle mass and the feeling of hunger, weakness and fatigue will most certainly occur. Additionally, the health risks can be damaging for dieters that are unaware of potential underlying medical conditions because the proper physician supervision, blood testing and comprehensive physical exam were not performed or required.

Some advertisements to take notice of that are promoting ”Homeopathic HCG” may include the following: “Prescription Strength HCG Drops”, “Highest Quality HCG Drops” or “High Purity HCG Drops”.

In conclusion, although you would most likely lose weight by restricting calories, the question is what type of weight am I losing? Healthy tissues or unhealthy tissues? In the short term there is weight and fat loss but lean muscle is also lost. Lean muscle controls metabolism and these diets ultimately cause the metabolism to slow down, thereby prolonging rollercoaster dieting and potentially harming your body.
